It looks great and is functional. Like most self assembly products, there was a little trial and error while assembling, but it was worth it.

Stepping up
This is one handy little gadget. Has multiple uses as well. I purchased it as a present for a shorter member of my family. It is tall enough to sit on as an extra needed chair at the table or while visiting with a group of friends and helps a shorter person reach the top shelf of the kitchen cabinets, a screaming smoke alarm that is steam sensitive or clean that higher spot. Love it!
Exactly what I wanted
Assembly is not the easiest but it's not the hardest either. I could assemble by myself and I don't have much experience with assembling. It took me 30 or 40 minutes to finish.
My toddler loves climbing it though and it must stay hidden from him. So I haven't uses it a lot to say how safe it is.

So disappointing!
I have wanted one of the ghost chairs for so long and couldn't afford one. So I finally decided to buy a reproduction because according to the reviews they were nice.
I received my first order and was so angry about how scratched it was. Amazon sent me a second chair.
I received my second chair and it was very disappointing again. The chair was not protected enough, the arms rub against the side of the box and were scratched and dull again. There was sticker residue on some spot and another sticker placed right on the acrylic. And there were scratches on the chair in places where it had been wrapped in bubble wrap.
Whether or not it is Philippe Starck, you expect a brand new chair to come unscratched. When I took the chair out of the box, my husband asked me if I bought a used one? It didn't even look new.
My mother has the real version of the chair and it is definitely not as nice. THE CHAIR IS STILL WAY OVER PRICED.
Amazon's customer service has been great...

Quality Look and Feel
I bought this handsome banquette for my kitchen nook. I had been looking for seating that would be comfortable and functionable. I wanted bench seating either built in with lots of pillows or a bench that would serve the purpose of making my breakfast nook invitingly comfortable. This bench fit the bill. The color is neutral so I was able to add a pillow and small throw to add a dash of color.

The seller did a great job with packing and a timely delivery. I would buy from this seller again.

Good value solid built.
I bought 4 of the benches. They were sturdier than I thought and were a breeze to put together. I spent more time throwing away the packing materials than actually screwing the legs on. They are level and made of a heavy material so they don't tip over easily. I can push them under the kitchen table instead of having regular chair backs cluttering up the room. Plus you can squeeze an extra person in at the table without having to push chairs about. Good value for the money.

I wrote the above paragraph about 5 years ago. These benches have withstood the test of time. They are rugged, and dependable. I think only once in the 5 years that I needed to tighten the bolts holding the legs on. Keep in mind that I have a BUSY household with kids leaning back the benches on 2 legs, sometimes dragging them outside to sit by a bon-fire etc. I really got my $ worth in these benches, and highly recommend them.

Very good quality and nice finish. The legs are a little thin at the bottom, so my grandchildren seeem to tip it.
