looks great but,,poor swivel unit
I was looking for a stool the would be used for daily meals,,so it had to be a sturdy unit.The design and appearance caught my eye and met my criteria,,but the construction was not what I thought it would be. The wood used is quality and the finish is too but the hardware such as the swivel unit is not. The stool rocks as it swivels,, even though it is not supposed to. The swivel unit is flimsey and should be upgraded. The appearance is quality but the swivel is flimsey.

Excellent Purchase!
Almost didn't purchase due to negative feedback posted. Wife liked styling so we decided to take risk...Couldn't have made a better choice...100% wood (sturdy) as advertised. Matches kitchen decor perfectly! Great value! One again Momma knows best!

We bought three stools. two were shipped from the same place together and the third from someplace else (all "by amazon"). The third stool is of obvious lower quality. The swivel has far fewer bearings and the color and construction is different and low quality. The two that shipped together are stunning! Very high quality both in color and construction, including high end swivel mechanism. Too bad all three couldnt have been shipped together.

Did they bother testing putting these things togther???
I decided to buy 3 of these stools for my kitchen island. My husband and I have been on a shopping spree of buying furniture lately that requires us to put it together, which we don't mind at all. Recently we put together a night stand with 2 drawers and a dresser with 6 drawers and had no problems at all. With that being said, I think these are the worst design ever as far as how they are put together. The pieces and tools could have been much better thought out. The instructions do not clearly explain which way to turn the side slats at the top and you need to have the large holes on the bottom. If you don't figure that out on your own you will end up taking it apart and starting over. Also, the seat is screwed into the base and the wood of the seat is cracked and soft and the screws weren't really the right size. We had to find better screws and use toothpicks to rescrew the screws into the holes in the seat. I would have thought these would have been the easiest items to put...

Didn't Fit Together
Assembly wasn't possible because some nuts were imbedded at the wrong angle. The mating screws would not align properly with the imbedded nuts.
poor quality/long reimbursement after returning
Unsafe for anyone over 100 pounds. Very poor construction details, nothing fits together and screws do not screw into designated areas. Purchased in December and still not reimbursed for return. This product is a liability to anyone who purchases it.

Sturdy attractive rack for smaller spaces.
I had a space that was 27" max width and I needed a mid-size microwave to fit in it. This rack was perfect and looks great next to a black stove.

Directions are a bit sketchy (just a picture) and the wine rack was a little tricky so don't tighten the screws until done!

Stepping up
This is one handy little gadget. Has multiple uses as well. I purchased it as a present for a shorter member of my family. It is tall enough to sit on as an extra needed chair at the table or while visiting with a group of friends and helps a shorter person reach the top shelf of the kitchen cabinets, a screaming smoke alarm that is steam sensitive or clean that higher spot. Love it!
Exactly what I wanted
Assembly is not the easiest but it's not the hardest either. I could assemble by myself and I don't have much experience with assembling. It took me 30 or 40 minutes to finish.
My toddler loves climbing it though and it must stay hidden from him. So I haven't uses it a lot to say how safe it is.

Do not hesitate on these bar stools. They look even better in person than online, they are very sturdy (not shakey at all). They are a great value for the price. I was very pleased and continue to be pleased as my family uses them everyday.

Very Nice
These stools are very nice and the price is great. I may be a little picky but one of the stools had a small white spot on the slate. I thought it was sticky paper and tried to rub it off. That is when I realized it was the slate itself. I am not sure if I need to put something on it to make it look like the rest of the stool. However, it is very small and I seem to be the only one who notices it. I do love these stools and wouldnt dream of sending them back. Mostly because of the hassle. I was surprised at how sturdy and pretty they are and the do look great.
Made in China
Pros: It's a decent product for the price. It looks nice. At first glance you do not initially notice the plastic vs tile inlays.
Cons: We ordered one stool initially and after receiving the first one ordered two more. The first stool's tile was actually plastic. Of the second two ordered, one back was like slate, the other like tile, and one of the two was missing the swivel from the packaging. Seller sent another stool. Of four total stools, three had tears in the seat top and we had to try and hide the tears by installing the seat back along the tear. That fourth stool again had a plastic tile top. So you really don't know which version you will get when you order this because we ordered these from the same seller each time. It's not made as sturdy as a welded stool. Metal is hollow and not solid iron. Packaging for all four stools was pretty beat up inside with styrofoam all broken up inside. Most included additional washers that were not used in the assembly...

Don't last
We ordered three of these stools to use in our game room. After about 6 months of very infrequent use, they are all wobbly. The finish on the wood looked very cheap. Think of a $15 pressed wood book shelf from a big box retailer and that is about the quality you are getting with this stool. I didn't expect a lot at the price point of this item, but I have been pretty disappointed.

Missing hardware for one stool and after repeated email, phone calls, no hardware replacement. really frustrating, there is no person to fix the problem, all you get is an email saying the email was received!

This table came fast within 3 days. I was a little concerned when the boxes came in because one (with the glass) was beat up. To my surprise the glass was in great shape, due to the good packaging. Table looks great and goes with my chairs I had bought from Target.

Well built
I had never bought anything resembling furniture online since I tend to like to see the object in question in person, to see how it looks and feels with my own senses instead of relying on a picture. However, finding a local place that sold this height of table was proving impossible, and the Internet just seemed sensible as opposed to wasting time hunting local spots. This table has turned my opinion, and I think, for the odd item, I won't be hesitant about turning to an online retailer.

The pictures shown are exactly how the table will look when you've assembled it. Yes, it does need a bit of assembly, but it's not a hard thing - very, very easy, in fact. The top is tempered glass (or so the teeny sticker says), and the legs look to be wrought iron (don't know if it really is since the description just says metal). Regardless, the look is rather classic and simple, and the insets aren't nearly overwrought as one might imagine - just four simple squares...

This table came like two days after I ordered it. It was well packaged and nothing wrong - no scratches, etc. all parts were there. It took no time at all for my not so mechanical husband to put it together. It looks great in our recently completed oak kitchen!

Beautiful table
This is a beautiful table. It's in a warm wood tone, solid oak, and its proportions are sleek, not clunky. It goes well with either traditional or modern furniture. Its size of 60" X 30" is perfect for a small apartment, yet it seats six. Plus it's reasonably priced.

great table
First off, this table is a "honey oak" stain. I don't know why that isn't listed in the product description, as it was clearly marked on the box the table came in. Regardless, the table is great! It's nice and sturdy, solid wood. There were two imperfections on the top surface, both scratches about 1/4" long. Assembly was easy, though I used a socket wrench to make sure everything was nice and snug instead of that silly tool they provided. I'm not sure about the previous reviewer; my table measures 60" x 36", as listed. Four people easily fit around the table. Six could be done, but might be a little tight.

Look nice and seem sturdy
They look really nice assembled in our kitchen. They seem very sturdy (time will tell) and all legs are level with the floor, i.e., no rocking. One complaint is that the precision of the manufacturing is not as good as it could be. some of the parts had to be slightly forced to fit. But, in the end they did. The instructions are also very minimal. More assembly pictures would have been nice. One suggestion when assembling is to NOT tighten any of the leg screws (there are 16) until all of the screws are in and the chair is loosely assembled.

Overall, for the price, these are great counter height stools.

comfy and sturdy
Each bar stool took about 45 minutes to assemble. They are comfortable and sturdy. We had guests over the holidays who mentioned how much they liked the stools. We put felt pads on the bottom of the legs since they will primarily be on wood floors, and these worked great.

This table has such a pretty finish to it and was a breeze to assemble! I recommend it if you have a small kitchen also it is a great size.

good value
Pleased with this pub table. It was fairly easy to assemble - no missing parts. Instructions were only via drawings but after a bit of head scracthing, figured it out. Good value for the money
Table looks very nice
No shipping damage. Leightweight enough that the delivery person should have to trouble carrying. The top and the hollow post arrived in two separate packages. Looks very good in my breakfast nook. Seems stable. Assembled easily. My aunt asked if it was an antique because of the style of the veneer on the top.

not real excited about product
Black/oak Shaker Bench
the black was black, but the oak was so red it looked more like mahogany! which of course doesn't work with the black/oak table and chairs purchased from the same vendor.

Broken pieces
The item looked very good in the picture, howeber when we unpacked it one chair had a broken leg and two oter chairs wobble.
We bought this set as a Christmas present for my son who just moved into his first solo apartment. It was very disappointing. We ordered two new chairs and hope that these are in better shape.
