It's a Win
I purchased these for our vacation home, which was already outfitted with Windsor style solid oak dining chairs. Those chairs are 20 years old and solid as a rock. I was hoping these bar stools would be a match. But I was afraid they might be rickety and cheap. It is just the opposite -- they are terrific, very solid and supportive. I am 235 pounds and never feel that they are tipsy or breakable. Putting the base on the seat can be a bit challenging for those with less than nimble fingers, but if you read the instructions and work slowly you will succeed. The swiveling action is just right. These stools look like they will be good for at least 20 years.

great looking barstools
I ordered two of the winsome wood barstools to place in my kitchen. They look really great and I am very happy with them. The only negative comment I have is that they were difficult to assemble, basically because the seats swivel and getting them lined up and attached was not easy even for my husband who is very strong. I have oak cabinets and woodwork in my kitchen and the finish on the barstools is a very good match with oak. Overall, I would recommend these barstools to anyone looking for a quality product at a reasonable price.

Great stools!
These stools look great, were well packaged and easy to put together. And a great price to boot! I chose these stools because the style and color match my dining room table perfectly. Also, since they are very shallow, I can push them under the counter and they stay out of the way. Our previous stools were more like chairs with backs, and they took up a lot of room and we were constantly shifting them to get by. (They were also too short for our bar-height counter, but that is another story...)

As one reviewer previously mentioned, when you are unpacking the contents of the box, be sure to look for the red dots on the legs. The legs of the stool are packaged two together - both legs with red dots are in the same bag. The red dots ensure that the holes for the cross bars are facing the right way. Great stools
We ordered these stools and did not know what we were getting for such a low price but we were surprised that they are such great stools. These are as good as any stools in the stores.Very well made and our 4 year old loves to sit on them while he eats at our pass through. I would buy these again.
Warning!
I bought three of these stools in the summer of 2011 for use by teachers daily in classrooms. All 3 stools started to come loose immediately -- the pauwlonia wood is very soft, and the legs have to be retightened every few days or so. My colleague was also sitting on his this past week and put his foot on the cross bar, which snapped in half! If you care about durability, I suggest the "Winsome Wood 30-Inch Dubliner Bar Stool - Set of 2" instead. I have had two of those at home for the last four years and have used them extensively -- they are still in great shape, and cost less!!!

Hard to clean
Easy to assemble, and the black and chrome is a nice look. However, the laminate black table tops are easily fingerprinted and marred, and the cleaners that can remove the marks seem to strip the shine right off the laminate.

Update:
After trying various cleaners, we have found that a 10% mixture of Simple Green cleans the tabletops well while doing minimum damage to the inferior quality laminate surface.

29" Round Dining Table
I use the desk as a small meeting table in my office. The black table top shows finger prints so you have to wipe them off using a gentle cleaner after each use or after several uses. The table is sturdy, easy to put together (it is 4 pieces), and comes with its own "L" wrench to attach 4 screws.
Sturdy cafe table
Don't fantasize about Thanksgiving dinners around this table BUT if you are looking for a table for one or two, this is it. Simple design with a central support the table allows for sitting all around, not just between corners. The surface top is also simple, no design or texture and easy to clean. The chrome support column lends a bit of flair to the overall design--a bit retro. Couldn't be easier to put this table together...even for a first timer! Really, it just has simple easy to follow directions that result in a solid, stable table. No teeter-tottering. Works well in our small space for just one or two people but can do double duty as outdoor table if needed.

Top-notch Two Top!
I bought this pub table for my apartment and its just perfect. The table and chairs were very easy to assemble. cannot return it quickly enough
I was stupid. I was seduced by the price. If you're a large grown man (i.e., 195 lbs+), when you sit on the stool, it embarassingly swooshes down so you look like a little kid sitting at a grownup table. A review of this set said that the stools were rated for 300+ lbs. And the table wobbles a little. Come get it, UPS.

Okay, but keep your expectations low
For $59, you get a few pieces of shaped wood, a piece of glass, screws that have to be driven with allen wrenches (when will manufacturers give up on those blasted things?), and a finish that looks pretty but mars easily and could have been applied better. And the cam locks, as others have noted, are the cheapest, cheesiest metal I've ever seen. Even forewarned, my wife managed to snap one, and we ended up coming up with a workaround involving stiff wire and hot glue.

For your effort you get a cute little table, and if you don't go over it carefully, looking for the various fit and finish problems, it looks okay, though not quite as dark as the photo shows. As long as you understand that this is not fine furniture, and keep your expectations reasonably low, you get a small but serviceable little table made of a light, but solid, wood. The grain shows though the finish - the surface is not mirror smooth - but the overall effect is pleasing.

Great for a few months, until it cracked for no reason
I really love this table - it is right next to my front door in my apartment and I keep a dish with my car keys on it. However, I bought it within the past 6 months and 3 days ago noticed a small crack across the wood on one side of the top. I only keep the dish with my car keys on this. No heavy objects. Yesterday when I looked, there was a very large crack across another part of the wood on the top of the table and the small crack had grown a bit bigger as well. This is now a complete waste of my money as the return window closed a few months ago. Nice table, but a lifespan of 6 months is pretty worthless.
Don't bother
I ordered two of these tables, one of them had a leg that was too short and the other had a crack in the table top. Move on.
