Hard to Beat
I bought 6 for my dining room table, and just ordered 2 more (that should say something).
1) These are not overly heavy chairs. They by all means are sturdy and solid, but not bulky.
2) These are fairly narrow chairs which is perfect for us. Getting our family of 6 around the dinner table with our previous chairs wasn't as easy.
3) They are very comfortable! I know chairs should be but these really are, great back support and bottom cushions.
4) Lastly, they really are beautiful chairs. They're weren't cheap, but far from expensive, and with 4 kids I didn't want to panic if something happened to them, but didn't want to sacrifice elegance either. These were the perfect fit.
5) They really were easy to assemble ... I watched a 2 hour episode of biggest loser while I assembled 6 of them, and I was distracted by the TV and not working overly fast (if that gives you an idea). [nor are my construction skills very advanced!]...
