Description misleading
I purchased 8 of these chairs. The description listed in incorrect. They are synthetic leather, not real leather as listed. The frames are not hardwood, they are laminated wood finished in a deep red wood finish. The price on these chair isn't bad for a vinyl chair, but they should correct the descriptions to reflect what they actually are.

Quality Control should have done a better job....
I bought 2 of these chairs for my office area. Thankfully, this is an area that doesn't get a whole lot of traffic, because I am disappointed with the appearance of the chairs. Before I explain, I want to state that the chairs ARE beige, as other reviewers have stated--not a light cream, as the picture depicts. I was grateful for the input by the other reviewers so I knew what to expect.
The chairs arrived very speedily, which I am thankful for, in 2 seperate boxes. The chairs must be assembled. There was light wrapping around the legs and body of the seats and chairbacks. The unfortunate thing...and the cause of my 3-star rating...is that BOTH chairs have some kind of marking on the back. I'm assuming it's kanji because the chairs were made in China and are not decipherable to me. I did use the rough side of my sponge and hot soapy water...but the RED marker they used appears to be there to stay. It's faded enough that in my office area, the chairs will be fine and the red...
great for the price!!
this is a comfortable, great-looking chair with cherry legs and a light beige leather. chairs like this usually go for 2-3x more. the only downside is assembly; it took me 1/2 an hour just for one chair, but it should be a bit quicker as i go along. shipping was free and fast and once i put the chair together i was glad i didn't spend more.
