With so many on offer these days, it is great to have a name you can trust. This item is certainly that and will be a perfect buy. The distributor have added some great touches and this equals great value.

good quality knockoff
This is a knockoff of the "real" Emeco 1006 chair, but it's a good quality one. The welds around the seat are sanded clean, the legs are an integral part of the seat, the bends feel clean, and the finish is real brushed aluminum, not brushmark paint. Your designer friends will still be able to tell you didn't spring for the real thing because it has 5 slats at the back (vs 3 in the Emeco) and 1 slat on the bottom brace (vs 2 in the Emeco). But for $125 vs $375, I'm willing to make that sacrifice.

These chairs never arrived.
We ordered these chairs on March 5 and were called and told they would arrive on April 9. We were anxious for them to arrive until two weeks later we were called and "encouraged" to order our chairs from somewhere else. They could not get them even though they had them listed as in stock. Very disappointing!! At least they had the courtesy to call and let us know.
